Modesto Bible College is bathed in prayer. There are two main groups that pray at MBC. The first is the students and the second is the MBC prayer team.
Students take part in several different prayer activities during the year. These include an annual prayer campaign, quarterly days of prayer, weekly prayer teams and daily prayer times.
The MBC prayer team is composed of others who agree to pray once a week through what is called, "Text Team Praying." Here is how it works.

The MBC prayer team is composed of others who agree to pray once a week through what is called, "Text Team Praying." Here is how it works.
- The first step is to contact us and indicate you wish to be on the MBC prayer team.
- You will then be assigned to a team composed of others who have also indicated they want to pray for MBC on a weekly basis.
- Once a week you will be notified via text that it is your day to pray for MBC. It is up to you how you pray. All we ask is that you pray for MBC. If you have a smart phone you can respond with, "I prayed" and it will be seen by and encourage others on your team. Your personal information will be kept private. This is a creative, fun and powerful way to make sure MBC is covered by prayer seven days a week.
