There are three parts to this class. The first part involves reading the text books. The second part consists of exploring key apologetic issues. The third part includes learning from key thinkers in the field of apologetics. The first text book is one of the most popular and helpful books on the subject of apologetics. Part two examines key issues confronting the Christian faith. Topics include: the reliability of Scripture, the existence of God, evolution vs. creation, and the problem of evil and suffering. Also included are the subjects of humanism, pluralism, hedonism, atheism and agnosticism.
Part three consists of learning from significant apologists such as C.S. Lewis, Francis Schaeffer, William Craig Lane, and Josh McDowell.
Unless a lesson is defined by a specific reading assignment or activity, spend two hours to complete each lesson. There is more than two hours worth of resources for many of the lessons. Choose those that interest you the most.

- So What's The Difference? by Fritz Ridenour.
There's a reason this book has sold over a million copies. It's readable, concise and a comprehensive. It's a thorough examination of false beliefs and errant world-views. Keep this book handy, you will refer to it for years to come.
- The "Case for..." book series by Lee Strobel.
Lee Strobel is an award winning legal journalist who worked for the Chicago Tribune. He combines his talent as a writer and skill as an investigator to produce a series of award winning books on the major issues in apologetics. Each books begins with the title, "The Case for..." Topics include: the toughest objections to Christianity, evidence for the resurrection, the scientific support for creation, and many more. There is a "student collection" for younger readers.
